Submitting your information is very important to you as well as our
program. It is one of the many ways to make contact with others researching
the same family lines as yours. We have a number of programs for your use
and you may submit your data in any way for posting on this web page.
Since we receive so many queries daily, it is hard to remember all the
names and/or E-Mail addresses. We ask that you include your
first and last name in
the body of your E-Mail.
QUERY - Keep your request as short as possible, but yet at the same
time provide as much information as possible. Dates and places are very
important. If you abbreviate, use standard abbreviations or spell it out.
Please include your first and last name and E-Mail
address. To submit them, use the "Queries
Message Board". This will place them on line for all to see. For
submitting queries for the Footprints Newsletter, see address below.
IN SEARCH OF - If you have a lot of information to list in your
query, you may use this feature. However you should also indicate "How,
When and Where" you have searched and any problems you have encountered.
Also include any suggestions or thoughts you may have on the family.
This will help eliminate any duplication of research by others who may
want to help you. To submit them, place on the Subject Line:
"IN SEARCH OF". Send them to the address
listed below.
DESCENDANTS LIST - Although a "Descendants List" or a "Ahnentafel
Chart" is not a true form of query, they both help others in trying to
find possible links to their's as well as your ancestors. They can be
used in conjunction with the "In Search Of" query above.
AHNENTAFEL CHART - This chart is the best way that we have found to
let others know the names your are researching. It provides all the Surnames,
dates and places for your line. If you would like to have your chart
presented on our web page, we will do so.
HISTORIES, BIOs, OBITS, etc - These items are as important as any
of the above. They can be submitted in the same manner. If at all possible,
be sure to include the "Title, date and author, of the publication taken
from. This allows others a place to locate the document as well as making
contact with you.
