He was son of Joseph (Josiah) Wright and Elizabeth Hassell.
He married:

(3) 19 Nov 1729, Woburn, MA, Rachel Brooks, b. 29 Nov 1729, Woburn, d. 19 Sep 1732, Woburn, MA. She was daughter of Jabez Brooks and Rachel Buck.
Their Child:

    1. Rachel Wright, b. 8 Jan 1730, Woburn, MA, m. Jonathan Lawrence.

Question: Elizabeth Bateman is listed as wife of both Joseph Wrights. No doubt only one is correct and I believe it to be the second family above. I would appreciate any information or documentation or what ever on Elizabeth Bateman.

What we have may be correct and that they are two different women.

Joseph Wright, died 19 Sep 1732. He m. 1st Elizabeth Bateman, 7 Jul 1692. They had three known children. She died after 11 Apr 1699 (birth of Mousal). He married 2nd Ruth ________, who died 18 Feb 1716/7, age 60. No known children of this marriage. He married 3rd, Rachel Brooks, 19 Nov 1729, who who as widow of Joseph, died 21 Jun 1750, age 55.
He "lived on John Winning's place"; was probably the Lieut Joseph Wright, selectman of Woburn, 1698; was selectman, 1721-22, 1724-25, 1727-30, 1732; moderator of town meetings, 1727; on a town committee to the General Court, 1727, 1729; on a committee to inform Mr Jackson of his choice as minister by the town, 1728. Administration on the estate of Joseph Wright, of Woburn, in 1732, names Rachel, a minor child; Mousal Wright, "only son of deceased"; Samuel Wood and wife Elizabeth, a daughter; Thomas Belknap and wife Sarah, a daughter. The sons-in-law, Wood and Belknap, represented to the court that "said deceased left issue by several wives, namely, the before named two daughters, and a son thirty years of age (anon-compos) by "a first venture", and a daughter about two years old by another," - that of Rachel, widow. Jacob Wright, of Woburn, brother ot Joseph, was gurardian of Rachel Wright, the minor.

He m. Elizabeth Bateman, July 7, 1692 (Sewall); Elizabeth wife of Joseph, Jr. died ____, 1704. Ruth, wife of Joseph, died Feb. 18, 1716/17, aged abt 60 (grave stone Woburn First Burying Ground), on which it is stated she was "formerly wife to Mr. John Center." Joseph m. Rachel Brooks, Nov. 19, 1729, who, widow of Joseph, died June 21, 1750, aged 55 (g.s. Wob.1st B.G.). He "lived on John Winning's place;" was probably the Lieut.
