EDWARD WRIGHT SR was born Abt. 1638, in England, and died 1735. He emigrated in 1675
on "Merchants Consent" out of London by Capt Francis Pratis.

He married (1st) abt 1678 KATHERINE COVINGTON, daughter of NEHEMIAH COVINGTON and
MARY VAUGHN. She was born Abt 1660 in Northampton Co, VA, and died 1681 in
Somerset Co, MD. Children of EDWARD and KATHERINE COVINGTON were:
- i. Rebecca Wright, b. 1680.
- ii. Jeremiah Wright, b. 1681.
He married (2nd) abt 1690 SARAH HOLBROOK. On 7 Jun 1700, Sarah signed Land Sale of "White Channel"
Children of EDWARD and SARAH HOLBROOK were:
- iii. Elizabeth Wright, b. 1692; m. James Jarratt/Gerrard.
- iv. Edward Wright Jr, b. 1699; d. 1747, Dorchester CO, MD.

He married (3rd) Bet. 1701 & 1705, ________ MATTHEWS. She died Bef 1705.

He married (4th) Bef. 1714, ELIZABETH MARSHALL.
Note: November 08, 1714, Edward Right of Dorc Co planter to his wife Elizabeth;
all food and chattells that belonged to Elizabeth Marshall, which were hers during her
widowhood before she became the wife of Edward Right.
