A number of years ago, I came in contact with a cousin, Florine Hurst, and with her help, I was able to fill in a lot of information on my family, as well as find many of their ancestors. Her information as well as that from Ruby Magers has provided Footprints with much information to work with. On these pages we will try to present that information. We are in hopes that you will be able to help fill in many of the missing links.

WILLS, DEEDS, and HISTORIES, are all needed. We have presented a few, but know that there are many more available. With your help we can find them and add them to these pages.

PHOTOGRAPHS: We have added a number of photographs. Many are duplicates made from old photos and then scanned by Footprints. We are sure there are better copies of these photographs somewhere and are in hopes you will be kind enough to replace these. We can scan them and return them, or you can scan them and submit them by E-Mail. Your help is needed on these and any additional photos you may have, as well as histories and other documentation. It will all help to build a history of the Cheves family.
