Edith Hamlin Submitted by: Thersa Garrod March 7, 1972 Mrs. Edith Hamlin, 86, of Rt. 2, South Haven, died Monday night March 6, 1972, at the Allegan County Medical Care facility after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 23, 1885 in Ganges Township, and was married Feb. 4, 1915 in Casco to Harold Hamlin who died in 1957. She was a life member of Rebekah Lodge of Glenn. Survivors include one son, Jerdon “Jiggs” Hamlin of South Haven, three grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one brother, Claude Dornan of Fennville. Funeral services will be Thursday at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville with the Rev. Gerald Galloway officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery.
