Amity Fletcher Submitted by: Thersa Garrod Marcelluls News (Marcellus, Michigan) Mrs. Amity Fletceher Mrs. Amity Fletcher was born in Ohio, June 6, 1834, died November 13, 1913, at the age of seventy-nine years and seven days. She leaves one son, Aaron Shaefer, two brothers, four sisters, and one grand-son to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at her home at Fish Lake, Rev J. A. Brown officiating. Interment was made in the Lawton cemetery.
NOTE: Amity was a sister to Maria Ann Morse the first wife of Aaron Fletcher.
Amity and Arron were married a couple of years after the death of MariA Ann.
We know nothing further on Aaron Shaefer (her son). We have knowledge
of one brother Isaac Morse who lived in the area. The second brother is
unknown. The three sisters are: Amanda E., Olive Elizabeth Protsman; Annis S
and Mary D. We have no further knowledge of the sisters other than Olive
Protsman.
