Mrs Christiana Wright, age 93 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs Bob Craig, four miles west of town, at 11:40 o'clock this morning. Details were not available at press time. Funeral services under direction of the Frank Funeral home will be held tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Mr Wright was 81 years of age. Submitted by: Judy McMichael Monitor Press of Wellington, KS - 23 Nov 1898 John Wright, an old soldier living on North Jefferson avenue, died last Saturday evening and was buried from the Lutheran church at 3o'clock on Sunday afternoon. He was a member of Jas. Shields Post G.A.R. and that order had charge of the funeral services, laying their old comrade to rest with military honors, a detail from Company B firing the last salute over his grave. Mr. Wright was seventy-three years of age and leaves a widow and four children to mourn his loss. Seneca [Wichita, KS] Born Sept 20, 1879, at Kalamazoo, Mich, Mrs Craig came to Wichita from Michigan at the age of 13. She was a member of Hyde Park Evangelical United Brethren Church.[Wichita, KS] Survivors in addition to Mrs Rousseau include three daughters, Mrs Perl Hendron, 5652, S. Jones; [Wichita, KS]; Mrs Margaret Stinnett, 2334 S. Ridgewood Dr[Wichita, KS]; and Mrs Maxine Martin, 1414 Alturas[Wichita, KS]; four sons, Richard, Fayetteville, Ark; James, Kansas City, Kan; Charles, Atlanta, Kan; and LeRoy, 431 S. Knight. 11 Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Broadway Mortuary with the Rev. Bernard L.
