According to records, Steven Lampman left home (Hoosick, Rensselar Co, NY) and headed west about 1830. However, considering what we have found to date, he did not go west until after 1850, as he married in Hoosick, Sarah Wright on 17 Nov 1831, and by 1850 was in Bennington, VT; (1850 census). We have found his descending line as well as information on his ancestors and their history. However, Sarah Wright remains a mystery. Since she was only about 17 when she married, it leads me to believe she lived locally.

If anyone knows of or has any information on any Wright Family living in the Hoosick area, I would appreciate their help.
