Early home was in Hoosick region, Rensselaer Co, NY near Albany; possibly removed to Danby, VT, Peru NY, East Bloomfield NY, Rome NY.   Later to Ohio and Iowa.   Per L.G. Lampman data.

From records of Wm.Lampman of Weedsport NY - Peter b. 25 Dec 1747 - d. 1832.
Peter Lampman [1212] pb 1-13-1755 (F) Rensellaer Co, NY, married Sarah Van Santen (Van Sandt) [1213].   Information from Mr. L.G. Lampman [1734] was consolidated incorrectly in Edition 2 with proved data from church records.   He traces the family to Danby, VT, East Bloomfield, NY, Peru, NY, Rome, NY, and Ohio.   He gives Peters birth as 12-25-1747 (note discrepancy) d. 1832, and Sarah's birth as 4-11-1748, d. 1832. His data incorrectly added Stephen P [1718] and Lavina [1721] and probably correctly Peter V [1723], and Sarah [1725] to the writers list of church proved children.   He also gives the husbands of [1219, 1448, 1449, 1450, 1451].   But [1734]'s family ties back to Peter [1436] and Anna Hogle [1435].

Note: Numbers in brackets [] indicate TAB numbers assigned to each individual in Henry Kelly's book.   His research covered many years, more than 60 that I know of, and the numbers were used as a control for each individual.   The first edition was published 1 Augest 1939, with the 4dth edition being published 1 Apr 1991.   A fifth edition was published sometime after that, but I cannot locate it at this time.   He also published a 15 page "Addition" dated 10 Jul 1999 to edition #5.
