![]() In Japan and the United States A number of years ago we presented a small amount of Japanese ancestry on these pages. Due to the lack of space available and the lack of interest, we removed the lines. Recently we have had some interest in some of the lines previously presented, so we decided to bring them back. We will also provide a few other articles that may be of interest. To continue this presentation, we need to have your input. Histories on our Footprints Families of Japanese descent. Queries posted by those researching their Japanese families. Personal histories of those that spent most or part of
World War II in Internment Camps. Personal Histories of Japanese Americans during WWII. Note: On left side of page under "Site Map", go to "MIS Page". For those interested, the following are a few links to the Japanese Internment
camps of World War II. These links provide a good example of what all of the
camps were like and how the Japanese people coped with them. Surprisingly,
they seemed to accept their fate and learn to live their life the best they could. Here you will find a number of current items found in our local newspapers, involving some of the attitudes of certain groups of people in the San Francisco Bay Area, - primarily Berkeley.
If you would like for this series of pages to continue, please let us know at Footprints , or let us know through our Guest Book. We are also looking forward to receiving the history of your Japanese family, to add to these pages. Please place in the Subject Line: WEBPAGE-JAPANESE ANCESTORS
