If you do not want to have to scroll through the introduction on the Family Web Page, click on "Contents" in one of the yellow boxes at the top of the Web Page. This will send you directly to the Index portion of the page. 3. If you find a page on the Footprints Web Site, that you want to go directly to from your Desk Top", find an open spot in the upper right corner of any page and right click on your mouse. Click on "Create Short Cut" This will place an icon on your Desk Top. Then the next time you want to visit the page, you can do so directly from your Desk Top. 4. We add the word New for each new item we add during the month. At the end of the month we will remove the "New" from each new page. If we update a page we will indicate the update by the word "Updated". That also will be removed at the end of each month. 5. For many, the Ahnentafel Chart is new. It is one of the best ways to include all of a persons ancestors on a list in place of the Petigree Chart. Although the Petigree Chart is more pleasing to the eye, the Ahnentafel Chart does a better job of including your ancestors.
